Frozen Watermelon Lemonade Slushie (Printable)

Icy blend of frozen watermelon and lemon for a naturally sweet, no added sugar summer cooler.

# What you'll need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 5 cups seedless watermelon, cubed and frozen
02 - 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4–5 lemons)
03 - 1 cup cold water
04 - 1 cup ice cubes

→ Optional Additions

05 - 10–12 fresh mint leaves, optional for blending or garnish
06 - Lemon slices or small watermelon wedges, optional garnish

# How to make it:

01 - Confirm all components are measured and the watermelon is fully frozen; have the blender, measuring cup and citrus juicer ready.
02 - Place the frozen watermelon cubes, fresh lemon juice, cold water and ice cubes into a high-powered blender in that order to aid blending.
03 - Blend on high in short bursts, using a tamper or pulse function as needed, until the mixture reaches a smooth, slushy consistency; pause to scrape the sides once if required.
04 - If mixture is too thick, add additional cold water one tablespoon at a time and re-blend; taste and, if less tartness is desired, add a few extra frozen watermelon cubes and briefly reprocess.
05 - Pour into chilled glasses, garnish with mint leaves and citrus or watermelon wedges if using, and serve immediately to retain slush texture.
