# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • It tastes like a fancy coffeehouse drink but costs a fraction of the price and takes ten minutes flat.
  • The combination of freeze-dried and fresh strawberries gives you texture and depth that feels indulgent without being heavy.
  • It's naturally vegan and dairy-free, so you can share it with almost anyone without explaining ingredients or apologies.
02 -
  • Carton coconut milk versus canned makes a real difference—the carton version is thinner and more neutral, while canned coconut milk will make this taste too rich and coconutty, almost dessert-like.
  • If you shake without a lid or forget to seal the shaker properly, you'll learn this lesson the same way I did, with pink liquid all over your kitchen and a very confused look on your face.
03 -
  • Make simple syrup ahead of time and store it in a jar in your fridge so you never have to wait or use cold syrup that refuses to dissolve.
  • If your açaí packet is still frozen solid when you're ready to make the drink, run it under warm water for thirty seconds instead of waiting for it to thaw on the counter—you'll save time and still get the right consistency.
